List of area resources for Tax Prep

AARP Tax-Aide volunteers offer tax return preparation at RHSC by appointment. Appointments  scheduled mid-February thru early April. 
The process for 2021: Due to restrictions, this will be a 3-step process.

  1. Once you have an appointment, you will pick up an information packet under the carport at the Center. It must be filled out before you return for your appointment.
  2. On the day of your appointment, you will bring your tax documents and forms and go thru the intake process. Your documents will be left with a Volunteer Tax Preparer.
  3. Once your tax return is prepared, you will be called back  to receive a copy and review it

AARP Foundation Tax-Aide offers free tax preparation help to anyone and if you’re 50 and older, and can’t afford a tax preparation service, we were made especially for you. We understand that retirement or other life changes may mean your taxes are a little more complicated now. With the help of our team of IRS-certified volunteers we make it easy for you.

AARP Foundation Tax-Aide has more than 5,000 locations in neighborhood libraries, malls, banks, community centers and senior centers. There’s no fee and no sales pitch for other services and AARP membership is not required.
