The Rufty-Holmes Board of Directors met in January. Approved was a revised Group Travel Policy and budget amendments to align revenue/expenses. The board meets again in April. Board members also serve on various working committees throughout the year. The Facility Committee approved completing renovation of remaining restrooms. Work will also be done to the front roof edge of the building to repair damage and re- lated issues. Watch for those facility updates this spring. Check out the Café with an added table and easy chairs to read or watch TV. The Center’s Low Vision Reader is now in the Café. Please let Staff know if you would like assistance learning to use it. The Pool Room is now across from the reception desk and getting lots of use. The Center is thankful for the many community partners who assist us in providing great programs & services for our county’s older adults. Check out a volunteer opportunity to help us thank them.
